Stamford police hold gun buyback event

Stamford police held a gun buyback program at their police headquarters on Bedford Street today. Police say they paid $75 for each rifle turned in, $100 for each handgun and $150 for assault weapons.

Stamford police held a gun buyback program at their police headquarters on Bedford Street today.
Police say they paid $75 for each rifle turned in, $100 for each handgun and $150 for assault weapons.
Police disposed of ammunition and other weapons such as knives.
