Police are investigating a string of car break-ins near Scalzi Park.
Stamford police say the suspects involved with these break-ins have hit more than 20 cars this past weekend alone, and more than 200 since August.
Authorities say the suspects steal from one car before quickly moving to the next one, sometimes all on the same street.
Officials say one suspect has been apprehended, but they are still looking for several others.
Among the targeted areas this weekend are Grove Street, by the High Grove Apartments, and Scalzi Park, according to police.
As authorities investigate, officials advise residents to be cautious. Some residents say they are already familiar with that advice.
"Step one, always lock your cars. Step two, if you have something of value, throw it in the trunk or cover it up because you're just asking to be a target," says Stamford resident Tyler Cohen.
