Stamford law enforcement officials say a police raid at a home last Friday could be connected with a violent incident earlier in the week.
The raid happened at 293 Fairfield Ave., after police received reports someone was headed inside with a gun and intended to shoot someone.
Eric Hime, the man who owns the home told News 12 Connecticut that he is shocked and saddened that someone could have possibly intended to enter his home and harm someone.
According to officials, a SWAT team searched for guns inside his house, but found nothing.
Police say this could have been connected with a drive-by shooting that happened on nearby Selleck Street, on Monday.
