A Stamford woman has been hospitalized after she allegedly threatened to kill herself and her two children.
Police say the 34-year-old woman was in court Monday with her soon-to-be ex-husband and allegedly made the comments then. Her husband had been arrested last week for allegedly physically assaulting her.
The woman's sister came to the police station Monday and police say she told them she was worried about the threats. The two children were put in the custody of their grandmother and the woman was taken to Stamford Hospital to be psychologically evaluated.
Police say the woman denies making the threats, and she will not face any charges.
