The state Office of Inspector General has released video of a fatal police involved shooting in Wallingford.

The office is also investigating the shooting.

Police received a call on Monday from a woman saying a man shot himself in the face inside a home.

When they arrived, police found Donald Passmore, 62, in a bedroom.

Police say they found a .22 caliber revolver on the bed and told Passmore not to touch the gun and put his right hand up.

Police fired 10 shots.

Passmore later died at the hospital.
