State officials are proposing three new buildings at Silver Sands State Park in Milford, which could result in charges for parkgoers.
Unlike other state parks or beaches, Silver Sands has always been free to the public.
However, proposals including bathrooms, a concession stand and an office for lifeguards could change that.
City officials say a public meeting regarding the proposed buildings will be held on Sept. 24.
