The state plans to cut more spending this year after new revenue projections.
Gov. Dannel Malloy says the state is expected to take in $95 million less this year than last and nearly $140 million less than that the following year.
Malloy says the problem is due in part to a drop in income tax revenue, despite the fact that he raised taxes last year.
