State Police: 2 dead in crash on I-95 in Fairfield

It happened near Exit 22 northbound just after midnight.

Two people are dead after a crash in Fairfield shutdown I-95 for several hours Friday morning.
It happened near Exit 22 northbound just after midnight.
State police say the accident involved two cars and a tractor-trailer.
They say a Chevrolet in the center lane spun out for an unknown reason and collided with the concrete barrier.
A BMW hit the car as a result.
The driver of the Chevrolet, William Foster, of Bridgeport, was ejected from the vehicle.
Meanwhile, a tractor-trailer hit the Chevrolet and also collided into the barrier.
Both Foster and the tractor-trailer driver were pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway reopened just before 7 a.m.
