Connecticut State Police say a trooper has shot a man who fired at police as they arrived to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance in Mansfield.
According to Sgt. Eric Haglund, the shooting happened Tuesday night.
The man was flown to a hospital for treatment. His current condition is unknown.
Haglund says a trooper suffered a minor injury, but was not shot.
Authorities have not released the names of the injured man or the troopers involved.
