State police are looking for a man they say stole items from a highway rest stop and threatened the cashier.
It happened Thursday inside the Dunkin’ Donuts at the Route 15 service area in New Canaan.
According to police, the man stole several items.
Police say when the cashier noticed and tried to intercept him from stealing a coffee mug, the suspect threatened to "blow the man's head off."
The suspect gestured to his waistband as if he were reaching for a handgun, then drove away in a black SUV.
