State police are probing a threat against one of their own Monday.
According to the Hartford Courant newspaper, Sgt. Matt Satkowski found a note in his drawer at Troop G, which is the Bridgeport Police Barracks. The letter allegedly said that he'd be shot. Satkowski also found a bullet with his badge number engraved into it, the paper reports.
Fingerprints have been taken from the bullet and interviews have been conducted. State police officials tell News 12 Connecticut they are conducting an internal, not a criminal, investigation.
However, Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal is calling for a criminal probe.
