Oxford High School was temporarily closed to the public this morning due to an unspecified threat made against the school, state police say.
They say they were notified about the threat by the FBI in the early-morning hours.
According to state police, “the school was closed to the public and school activities out [of] an abundance of caution.”
They say a suspect was interviewed and admitted making the threat. The school grounds were then “reopened to normal activities."
Authorities did not release any information about the nature of the threat or information about the suspect.
