The driving stats are in from the holiday weekend after Connecticut state troopers patrolled the highways using both traditional and unmarked cars.
From June 30 to July 4, troopers recorded almost 1,400 speeding tickets, nearly 3,000 moving violations and 60 DUI arrests.
There were also almost 400 accidents.
The DUI arrests this year almost doubled from last year's 39.
