Monday's storm brought heavy winds and rain to western Connecticut, causing flooding on some area roadways.
Both the North Benson Road and Round Hill Road underpasses in Fairfield were blocked off, forcing cars to turn around. Choppy waves could be seen off of Fairfield Beach Road.
In Darien, flooding was present near the train station.
Drivers lamented to News 12 how they went from pleasant and warm weather over the weekend back to frigid conditions.
Officials say anyone who comes across standing water should find an alternate route instead of driving through it.
