WHAT TO KNOW:
Following some much-needed rain this past weekend, this is going to be a pretty quiet week of weather other than a small chance that the lower Hudson Valley gets brushed by a few showers on Wednesday.
Make as many outdoor afternoon plans as you can!
Temperatures are running a bit below the normal average high of 77 degrees, but it is going to be an enjoyable week of weather.
If you need the rain jacket or umbrella at all, Wednesday would be the day, but much of that rain will stay south and east of the Hudson Valley.
FORECAST:
TODAY: Beautiful! Mostly sunny. Cooler than average, but comfortable. Highs around 73 degrees. UV INDEX: 6 (high).
TONIGHT: Mainly clear to partly cloudy and a bit chilly in spots. Low 50s in southern Westchester County, but temperatures will drop into the 40s north and west.
TUESDAY: Sun and clouds. It will be a little breezier than today, but still nice. Highs around 74 degrees. Lows near 53 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy. The further north you are, the better chance for more sun. The closer to southern Westchester County you are, the more clouds you will see and the better light rain shower chance you will have. There is a good chance that most of the day stays dry, but we just cannot rule out some passing light rain showers, especially in the south, at this time. Highs around 72 degrees. Lows near 53 degrees.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and warmer! Highs around 79 degrees. Lows near 56 degrees.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs around 74 degrees. Lows near 53 degrees.
SATURDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs around 75 degrees. Lows near 54 degrees.
SUNDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs around 76 degrees. Lows near 55 degrees.
