A little bit of Hollywood coming to NJ – New production studio opening up

A warehouse building in Jersey City will now be home to a production studio.
According to the city, the warehouse building on Caven Point Avenue will house three sound stages, with space for large scale productions.
The real estate developer, Criterion Group, is transforming the location into a studio, which Mayor Steven Fulop believes will attract jobs.
"This is our first time that we have something like this so it's pretty exciting,” says Fulop. “But we've had others that have expressed interest. This is the first one that's moved forward through the planning process and is 100 percent going to happen."

Mayor Fulop believes Jersey City could rival New York City for film and TV jobs if more companies now start to move-in.
