Michelle Troconis, a woman charged with conspiracy to commit murder and evidence tampering in the Jennifer Dulos case, released a statement Thursday just days before the one year anniversary of the New Canaan mother's disappearance.
Troconis released a statement in which she says it's "frustrating to remain quiet and rely on the justice system."
Troconis is the former girlfriend of Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband charged with murdering his wife.
In her statement, Troconis says she is saddened for the loss that Jennifer's five children have suffered for being left without both of their parents.
Fotis died on Jan 30, two days after a suicide attempt inside his Farmington home from carbon monoxide poisoning, according to his former attorney Norm Pattis.
Troconis also released an audio file of her statement recorded in her native languge Spanish.
Troconis says looking back over the last year, she felt it was a mistake to trust him (Fotis Dulos).
She is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 6.
