A 7-year-old Stratford boy has found a fun way to learn math while he's home from school during the coronavirus pandemic.
Messiah Green runs the M.C Green Brothers Market outside of his house on Columbus Avenue.
He sells snacks from his kid-sized stand, which is complete with a working conveyor belt and cash register.
His mom, Dysha Maye, says there's so much more that kids can be doing during the pandemic besides playing video games.
She says Messiah was diagnosed with a hearing impairment at age 2, but it hasn't slowed him down a bit.
"Being out here with the community and dealing with society hands on is helping him with his math right now that he's out of school. He's enjoying it, I'm enjoying it, and I just want to thank the community for helping me help him," Maye says.
