Stratford has taken another step toward the redevelopment of the abandoned Stratford Army Engine Plant.
The Army recently reclaimed control of the property and is in the process of marketing it to potential developers. Mayor Jim Miron announced the creation of a Web site Thursday to serve as a brochure for interested developers.
Officials are attempting to re-brand the site and put it in a different market context by naming it Point Stratford. PointStratford.com, which is open to the public, outlines what a potential buyer would want to know about the property.
Officials say the process will move quickly. They expect to have all the qualified bids on Point Stratford in by November 16.
