Stratford artist Benjamin Casiano got the word out Sunday about "The Klein Mezzanine Gallery" at the Klein Memorial Auditorium on Fairfield Avenue.

Casiano lost vision in his eye after an injury. It's now a trademark in his artwork.

The collection features a selection of his paintings, along with works from other Connecticut artists.

"I did a collaboration with Laurence Caso -- the executive director -- to show all the artists from the local area and the state of Connecticut," says Casiano.

Artists can submit their work online for a chance to be shown or selected as artist of the month. The collection will be on display at a free meet-and-greet on Dec. 7.
