The Stratford community honored three prestigious teachers Saturday as they ride off into the sunset for their retirements.

Kathy Bevino, Marybeth Petrella and Jenn Kechar served many years to mold the youth and serve the community.

Dozens of cars filled with family, friends, former students and colleagues came out to say thank you for everything the trio has done.

There were also a fire engine and two police cars. Mayor Laura Hoydick congratulated the teachers on a job well done.
