Stratford ice cream shop erupts in flames

Authorities received a 911 call reporting the incident at around 2:52 a.m.

Micalizzi's Ice Cream Shop caught fire overnight in Stratford, fire officials say.
Authorities received a 911 call reporting the incident at around 2:52 a.m.
The Stratford fire department says 22 firefighters went to the scene along with additional staff officers.
Upon arrival, the crew found that fire had spread from the front of the store to the roof.
The front of the store was boarded up as of Saturday morning.
The Stratford Fire Marshall says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
