The Stratford Police Department's youth program gave local children a chance to learn unique drawing skills Saturday.
The event was hosted by both the Police Activities League and the Stratford Arts Commission.
Organizers say students learned to draw their favorite superhero or used their imagination to create one of their own.
They say the program received a great response from the community.
"It's really just an opportunity for the Stratford Arts Commission to offer other programs in terms of reaching out to the younger generation and helping them do things for the arts," says Lou Decilio, of the Stratford Arts Commission.
About 40 children took part in the program.
