Since last week's recall, the Pet Hospital of Stratford has been getting about 10 calls per day, and about 10 owners have brought their pets in for blood work. Out of those tests, two animals' kidneys have been affected in some way.
Menu Foods recalled "cuts and gravy" style dog and cat food. The recall includes food sold under store brands carried by Wal-Mart, Kroger, Safeway and other large retailers. Private labels such as Iams, Nutro and Eukanuba are also included.
