Stratford residents are doing what they can to send relief and items to Haiti as the country is still dealing with the devastation from a 7.2 magnitude earthquake that hit earlier this month.
They're asking for people to donate items like tents, tarps, smaller mattresses and medications to send over to Haiti.
Residents and the Haitian United Federation are hoping to send these items on a ship next week and ensure they get to people in need.
Mayor Laura Hoydick of Stratford donated $1,500 on behalf of the town.

The donation event runs until 7 p.m.
