Officials have unveiled design plans for the renovation project at Stratford High School.
Architects say the current building on North Parade Street will increase in size by about 25 percent and include several new features.
They say the renovations will take a few years to complete and will be done in three phases so the school is never closed and students can remain in class.
Officials say the renovation is necessary to bring Stratford up to code with requirements set by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
