Stray bullets narrowly missed a woman in Stamford's West Side neighborhood Thursday night, and police say they're looking for multiple suspects.
The victim says she was driving along West Avenue near Rose Park when she heard a gunshot. When she arrived home a short while later, she realized there was a bullet hole in her passenger door.
Investigators say that the woman was likely not the intended target, but the bullets struck her car.
Investigators say they believe the gunfire is linked to a shootout at 235 West Main St. on Monday afternoon that left bullet holes in four apartments.
Anyone with information is asked to call Stamford police.
