Friday's nor'easter left substantial damage throughout the state. Heavy wind gusts and rain left many areas with downed trees and power lines.
There were several reports of trees crashing into homes in Stamford. Some areas experienced major flooding, making commutes difficult. Several thousand customers were left without power due to strong wind gusts.
But that wasn't the worst of it. Northern Fairfield and Litchfield counties were also left covered in snow.
Crews are expected to take the streets Saturday to begin cleanup.
