A new government study is raising concerns that mosquitoes carrying the dangerous Zika virus may soon be in Connecticut.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated the maps it uses to anticipate where mosquitoes carrying the virus can be found.
New estimates show they could reach as far north as Connecticut and deep into the midwest.
The CDC says the maps are made by tracking where the mosquitoes have been found and how far they could spread.
