Milford-based Subway will test a new plant-based meatless meatball sub at select stores across the U.S., the company says.
Subway announced it is teaming up with plant-based food brand Beyond Meat to create the sub.
The sandwich will be tested at 700 Subways across the country.
The moves comes as Burger King enjoys big success with its line of "Impossible" burgers.
