After some cooler fall weather the last couple of days, things are going to quickly turn around.
The weekend weather looks great and temperatures will gradually warm back up. Highs will climb into the upper 70s and near 80 degrees again.
The latest drought monitor was released on Thursday. It still shows abnormally dry conditions all throughout western Connecticut.
The warmer summer-like temperatures will stretch all the way into next week.
There is a chance of rain on Wednesday as a sharp cold front moves through the area. This will also drop temperatures back down to more seasonable levels for the end of next week.
