Teachers in Bridgeport got some hands-on training with a new experimental online educational program today.
A Harvard professor visited Blackham School as part of an initiative sponsored by the Magic Johnson Foundation.
The program looks to improve education in urban communities.
Officials say the Bridgeport program is the first of what they hope will be a national effort.
Organizers say the program aims to improve the reading skills of kids in pre-K through third grade.
