For the second time in less than two months, the Fairfield University Women's Basketball squad is the News 12 Connecticut Team of the week sponsored by the Hospital for Special Surgery.
On Thursday night, Carly Thibault-DuDonis' team tied the longest winning streak in program history. The stags have won an astonishing 16 games in a row!
The second longest active streak in the country, only behind the number one team in the nation South Carolina.
Fairfield is a perfect 10-0 so far in MAAC play.
Next Thursday's home game starts at 11 a.m. with free admission for kids.
