No snow has fallen yet in Bridgeport this week, but city plows were out Monday to prepare for the chance of winter weather later on in the week.
The city is using new technology with its plows to help speed up snow removal this year. Plows are now equipped with iPads and Go-Pro cameras that show drivers footage of what they are plowing. The cameras also relay the footage back to the city's emergency operations center.
Officials say the cameras keep everyone accountable and ensure that everyone is doing their job.
Mayor Bill Finch says they have learned what they needed to improve in past years and that they are ready for the chance of snow on Wednesday.
