Tonight's storm downed trees and wires across southwestern Connecticut. One downed tree on Georgetown Road near Old Farm Road caused police to close the road. More than 700 outages were being reported

Thunderstorms down trees, wires across region
Tonight's storm downed trees and wires across southwestern Connecticut.
One downed tree on Georgetown Road near Old Farm Road caused police to close the road.
More than 700 outages were being reported in Weston as of 10 p.m.
