A Westport hardware store is closing its doors after almost 75 years in business.
The owner of Torno Hardware says the store cannot compete with big box stores and online shopping.
The manager who has worked at the store for decades says it is a sad time.
"Inside it really hurts me because the owner is such a great person," says Sajjad Gul. "I mean he's unbelievable."
Anything that does not sell by the time Torno Hardware closes in June will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.
Greenwich-based Interstate Lumber is buying the space and will convert it into a showroom for window and door products.
