The fire in a Torrington multifamily home Saturday night that displaced nine residents started on the third floor, then spread to the second, the fire marshal says.

The incident left the home on Wall Street with severe fire and water damage.

Two firefighters overcome by the heat were treated then released from the hospital.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
