Police say a man from Torrington was arrested for driving under the influence and going the wrong-way on I-84 in Hartford.

Officials said Alex Ortiz, from Torrington, had a stolen firearm on the back seat of the vehicle in plain view.

They said Ortiz refused a sobriety test at the scene and was arrested.
