A Torrington man was arrested after police say they found a cache of weapons and drugs inside of his car.
Police say officers pulled over Andrew Ranft, 29, for driving the wrong way down George Street in Torrington Tuesday evening.

They searched the car and found two large knives, a 9mm hand gun and a sawed-off shotgun.
Police say the blades were longer than 4 inches in length and the 9mm handgun had its serial number shaved off.

Officers say they also found burglary tools and a half ounce of marijuana.
Ranft faces multiple charges and is being held on a $25,000 bond.
