Travelers in the tri-state area can expect to see beefed up security at airports today after a terror attack in Turkey.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says officers armed with tactical weapons are patrolling JFK , La Guardia and Newark airports.
They say they will continue to monitor the situation in Turkey alongside federal and local officials, including the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force.
