A man was taken into custody after police say his pickup truck sideswept a car, flew into the air and landed on top of a railroad bridge in Bridgeport this morning.
The accident happened just before 2 a.m. near the intersection of Fairfield and Railroad avenues.
Several people who work at a skate shop nearby say their surveillance cameras captured the truck as it hit a car that was coming under the bridge and then landed on the tracks.
According to some of the workers, the driver of the truck was speeding and appeared drunk. He was not seriously hurt. It remains unknown if the driver of the other car sustained any injuries.
Bridgeport police wouldn't comment on the incident, but say they're looking into it.
