TSA says a bomb threat against Connecticut airports today has been deemed unfounded.
The New Haven(HVN) airport operations received an email bomb threat that stated bombs were placed in every airport in Connecticut.
A spokesperson said Connecticut State Police K-9 units conducted a sweep of all airports, nothing was found, according to officials.
In a statement to News12 TSA officials said, "TSA maintains a risk-based, intelligence-driven approach that includes multiple layers of security, both seen and unseen. TSA and DHS are in close and ongoing touch with all of our airport, airline, and law enforcement partners, and will continue to monitor these situations and may adjust security postures as (or when) necessary."
