The University of Connecticut says men's basketball coach Kevin Ollie canceled his trip to the NCAA Final Four in Indianapolis.
Gov. Dannel Malloy has ordered a ban on state-funded travel to Indiana as a protest of that state's new religious rreedom law.
The tickets and reservations were made before the law was passed so Malloy left the decision to up to UConn.
Malloy had said he had hoped the trip would be canceled.
