407ds agoA grandmother from Ukraine and her grandson, who is a dance teacher, are waltzing together when two weeks ago she was sheltering in Kyiv.
This weekend Svitlana Pak and her grandson Igor Geyenko will be at a benefit at the Dance Collective in Westport to help friends still in harm's way.
Many of Geyenko's ballroom friends can't, or won't, leave Ukraine and are still there fighting.
Suzanne Goldklang has more from the two dancers.
