East Flatbush woman charged in fatal stabbing of boyfriend

An East Flatbush woman is facing charges after police sources say she fatally stabbed her boyfriend during a domestic dispute early Saturday morning.
Police made the discovery shortly after 7 a.m. at a sixth-floor apartment at 333 Linden Ave.
Sources close to the investigation say 36-year-old Jennifer Ayala and her boyfriend, 36-year-old Pedersin Pelissier, got into a heated argument before she used a "sharp instrument" to stab him.
Investigators say Pelissier was found inside Ayala’s apartment with multiple stab wounds.
Neighbors told News 12 the couple frequently argued. They also said Pelissier had previously tried to break down the apartment door.
The circumstances surrounding the damaged door were still unclear as of Sunday night.
Police sources say Ayala was taken into custody Saturday and was officially charged Sunday around 1 a.m., nearly a full day after the initial discovery.
Pelissier did not live with Ayala, according to investigators. Police say his residence was on Fulton Street in Fort Greene.
Paramedics rushed Pelissier to Kings County Hospital, where he later died.
Ayala faces multiple charges, including manslaughter, two counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
