New video of the commercial rocket that exploded last month during takeoff has been released.

The footage was filmed by two local men, Elliot Severn of Stratford and Peter Greenwood of Shelton. The two men only just got their footage back last week from investigators, who were looking into what caused the rocket to explode.

Severn and Greenwood had placed cameras at the site, hoping to capture an up-close look at the rocket launch. They and the other photographers at the site agreed not to release their videos until everyone had their cameras returned.

No one was injured in the explosion, but it destroyed supplies and experiments headed for the International Space Station.
