A volunteer firefighter whose full-time job dropped off considerably because of the pandemic has launched his own grocery delivery service.

Josh Gonillo has set up a grocery delivery service for people who can't go out or don't want to go to the store for safety concerns. He's done this as his regular business, Lug My Junk, has slowed during the COVID-19 crisis.

He says he has even run errands at other stores like Home Depot.

Gonillo says he started the service two weeks ago and that he enjoys helping others.

"I want to be able to help out and reach out to my community," he says. "There's a lot of people out there that need my service so I want to be able to provide that for them."

He says he always wears personal protective equipment when shopping.

Gonillo says he has delivered to almost 50 families. He says he gets the items delivered by 6 p.m. the same day.
