Wake services were held Monday for a U.S. Army medic and father who was killed in a wrong-way crash in Shelton.
Police say Fernando Moreno-Rivas died after he was hit by a woman driving north on the southbound side of Route 8 last Thursday.
His wake was held at Larson Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
A funeral Mass will take place Tuesday morning at Holy Family Church in Fairfield.
