Funeral held for renowned paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren
Family and friends gathered in Trumbull to remember world-renowned paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren, whose ghost-hunting cases spurred dozens of TV shows, Hollywood movies and books.

World renowned paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren from Connecticut whose ghost-hunting cases spurred dozens of TV shows, Hollywood movies and books, was laid to rest today during a funeral service.
Warren, a Monroe resident, died in her sleep last week at her home. She was 92.
Family and friends gathered at St. Stephens Church in Trumbull.
Warren was born in Bridgeport, and put Connecticut on the map as a center of paranormal activity for more than half a century.
Her and her husband Ed founded the New England Society for Psychic Research.
Their cases became the basis for the “Amityville Horror” series, the "Conjuring" and "Annabell" movies, and a series of books.
She was buried next to her late husband Ed at the the Stepney Village Cemetery in Monroe.
