Warm stretch and a weekend shower for the Hudson Valley

We time out the showers this weekend and will show you a big cool down that could steer some tropical trouble into the US.

WHAT TO KNOW
Some patchy fog this morning, but otherwise a great looking day with highs near 80 and a mix of sun and clouds.
A stray shower returns Saturday night and early Sunday.
Watching Humberto and a disturbance that is likely to become Imelda, but no direct impacts to our area are expected.

A few clouds to start, then afternoon sunshine. Warm. Highs near 80.
Tonight
Partly cloudy. Lows in the low 60s.
Saturday
Some sun to start, then increasing clouds. Warm. Highs in the upper 70s.
Sunday
Showers in the morning, then some clearing in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s.
Monday
Mostly cloudy, but mild. Highs near 80.
Tuesday
Overcast with showers possible. Future Imelda could be approaching the southeastern United States.
Mid-Week
A Canadian airmass will steer any tropical weather away from the Hudson Valley, however it will be chilly with morning temperatures in the 40s and highs in the 60s. Frost possible for higher elevations in the upper Hudson Valley.
